A member of the communications team of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Davies Opoku otherwise known in the media circles as OPK has commended the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) sitting Member of Parliament for North Tongu in the Volta Region.
According to him, Samuel Okudjeto-Ablakwa’s gesture of presenting desks and other assorted materials to some students admitted as part of the flagship educational programme of the NPP was commendable.
He said even though some elements in the NDC are speaking ill of the policy, the actions of the MP is laudable one that must be emulated by all.
It gladdened my heart when I saw pictures of the MP on social media making a donation to student beneficiaries.
He said the MP’s gesture and benevolence to the students in his Constituency was a laudable one that must be supported by all well-meaning Ghanaians.
He called on everyone to emulate the gesture of the MP and his support for the Free Senior High School (Free SHS) policy beneficiaries.
He said the policy is a good one and every Ghanaian must support the policy to be a success in the country.
OPK  commended the NDC MP on the ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ show hosted Kwame Afrifa-Mensah  on Accra-based Happy FM.
When I saw the pictures of the MP making a donation to the students in his Constituency I doff my hat for him he said.
He said the free SHS policy has the tendency of bridging the educational gap in the country.
