Minister for Works and Housing and Member of Parliament for the Ofoase-Ayirebi Constituency, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has commended President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for the significant developments in the country.

Speaking to party supporters in Ofoase-Ayirebi during Dr. Bawumia’s visit on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, Oppong Nkrumah praised the government’s interventions, such as the Free Senior High School and TVET policies.

He highlighted how these initiatives have relieved families from the burden of selling family properties to fund their children’s education in senior high schools, ensuring that no child is forced out of school due to unpaid fees.

He also noted the government’s support for nursing and teacher trainees, adding that in the Ofoase-Ayirebi Constituency, a new health facility with a medical theater and three doctors has been established.

He mentioned the Constituency, has benefited from the government’s initiative to construct 88 district hospitals in areas without healthcare facilities.

He emphasized that the Agenda 111 project which is currently ongoing is expected to create employment opportunities for about 60,000 Ghanaian youth.
