Bankroller of Tema Youth FC, Wilfred Osei Kweku has said in a statement that he will challenge the decision by the Vetting Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to disqualify him from the race.

Osei Palmer popularly known in the media circles was the only candidate disqualified from the presidential race.

He has up to Monday, October 7 to submit his appeal.

The Normalisation Committee acting as the Elections Committee after recommendations from the Vetting Committee published the names of the qualified candidates on Friday with only Palmer missing from the list of confirmed presidential hopefuls.

George Afriyie, Kurt Okraku, Nana Yaw Amponsah, Amanda Clinton and George Ankamah made the list of aspirants to vie for the position in the upcoming elections slated for October 27.
