The former Member of Parliament(MP) for La-Dadekotopon in the Greater Accra Region, Nii Amasah Namoale has noted that Ghana’s Parliament will not be taken serious, if it goes ahead to abrogate the Ameri deal.
According to him, the international business community will not take Ghana’s Parliamentary proceedings serious if it goes ahead.
He said this will be a dangerous precedent for doing business across the world.
Nii Amasah Namoale, one of the aspirants in the race for the presidential slot of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) made this comment when he appeared on Happy FM’s “Epa Hoa Daben’.
He maintained that this action on the part of the current Parliament led by the Adansi-Asokwa Member of Parliament in the Ashanti Region, KT Hammond will not auger well for the country, business wise.
He questioned how a deal rectified by the same Parliament could be reviewed by the same Parliament.
According to him, this will create the perception that Ghana is not worthy doing business with international business community in the West African sub-region.
