Ghanaian reggae/dancehall artiste, Samini has officially launched his seventh studio album titled ‘untamed’.

Last year, the MOBO award winner released a single ‘My Own’ which earned him Reggae Song of the Year at the VGMAs.

He later dropped another single, Obaa, which also did good among music lovers.

The Linda hitmaker has finally held at a listening session for industry players to have the first feel to the 22 track raggae album.

The album will however be released on his birthday December 22,on selected online musical stores for the public.

Talking about the inspiration behind the ‘Untamed’ album unveiled at the Multichoice Office in Accra, Samini told guests his new album tells the struggle he is been through over the years yet never gave up on his dreams.

As part of the activities line-up for the 2018 Saminifest, the award winning artiste also announced a homecoming music festival in Wa henceforth, annually, to keep the connect with his fellow Wa indigenes.

2018 SaminiFest is scheduled to take place at the Osu Oxford Street on December 22.

Samini is now managed by Africa 1 Media, based in Accra, Ghana’s capital city.

Samini’s debut studio album, Dankwasere, was released in 2004 and it featured hit song, Linda. The rest of the songs on the album were equally good and established him as one of Ghana’s talented artistes.

A renowned live performer, Samini, real name Emmanuel Andrews Samini, has performed alongside international acts such as Sean Paul, Akon, Kevin Little, Shaggy, Wayne Wonder, Damian Marley, Bennie Man, Jay-Z, Chaka Demus & Pliers, Culture, Steel Pulse, among others.
