Police Clears NDC to demonstrate on Tuesday 17th September, 2024

Police Clears NDC to demonstrate on Tuesday 17th September, 2024

General Secretary of the NDC, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey addressing the media after a closed door meeting with the regional
Police command said the meeting with the police command was successful as the date and venue for their denomination have been agreed upon.

According to him, “the route has been agreed” and the demonstration starts from the Kwame Nkrumah Circle through to the Parliament House to present a copy of their petition to the Speaker of Parliament then proceed to the Electoral Commission’s office.

He added, “ we have largely agreed that the date is feasible and the route we are going to use the obra spot through to Parliament House then we finish at the EC”.

Speaking to the media, the communications director of the NDC , Sammy Gyamfi said the demonstration would happen at the same time in all the 16 regional capitals.

He indicated that, arrangements have been put in place to ensure a successful demonstration.
