
Police have launched an investigation following a fire at the London residence of UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer in the early hours of the morning.
The blaze, which broke out at Sir Keir’s property in Kentish Town, caused damage to the entrance but no injuries were reported.
Authorities have cordoned off the area as inquiries continue.
The London Fire Brigade responded to the incident at 01:11 BST, swiftly bringing the fire under control within 20 minutes.
A spokesperson for the prime minister confirmed the incident and expressed appreciation for the swift response of emergency services.
“The prime minister thanks the emergency services for their work, ”they stated, adding that the matter remains subject to a live investigation.
