Police Launch Manhunt for Shooting Suspect Mujaheed Suraj, Alias “Mims”

The Ghana Police Service has launched an intensive manhunt for Mujaheed Suraj, also known as “Mims,” who is accused of shooting and injuring a man in the leg. The incident occurred in the Awutu Senya East Constituency in the Central Region.

 

According to police reports, the suspect fled the scene immediately after the incident, leaving his vehicle behind. The abandoned car is now in police custody as part of ongoing investigations.

 

Law enforcement has initiated a coordinated intelligence-led operation to track down and apprehend the suspect. The police has assured the public that they are committed to bringing the perpetrator to justice and ensuring public safety.

 

The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, is currently receiving medical care. Authorities have called on the public to provide any information that could lead to the suspect’s arrest.

 

The police urge calm and cooperation as they work to resolve the matter swiftly. Anyone with relevant information is encouraged to contact the nearest police station.
