The Office of the President has announced that His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, will arrive in The Gambia on Friday January 17th 2025 for a one-day working visit.

President Mahama is expected to land at the Banjul International Airport at 11:45 A.M., where he will be welcomed by his Gambian counterpart, President Adama Barrow. Following the official reception, President Barrow will host a state luncheon in honor of the visiting Ghanaian Head of State.

During the visit, the two leaders will hold a private meeting to explore ways to enhance the longstanding bilateral relations between The Gambia and Ghana.
This engagement underscores the commitment of both nations to deepening ties and fostering cooperation on various fronts, including trade, governance, and cultural exchange.

President Mahama’s visit reflects the strong bond between the two West African nations and is expected to yield outcomes that will benefit both countries.
