Prez. Mahama to begin Thank You Tour of the Western Region on February 5

President John Dramani Mahama, is set to continue the second phase of his Thank You Tour to the Western Region on Wednesday, February 5th, 2025.

The President’s visit will take him to Sekondi, the administrative capital of the Western Region, where he will extend his gratitude to key stakeholders including Nananom, respected queen mothers, clergy, imams, esteemed Zongo chiefs, heads of departments, and party members at all levels.

This tour follows the nationwide initiative that began last month in the Volta Region, as President Mahama seeks to express his appreciation to those who have supported his administration.

In a statement, Regional Communication Officer of the Western Region, Richard Kirk-Mensah stated that, “President Mahama’s visit to the Western Region is a continuation of his commitment to recognizing and thanking the various leaders and communities who have played a vital role in the nation’s development.”

His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, the President of the Republic of Ghana and Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces, will embark on the second phase of his Thank You Tour in the Western Region on Wednesday, February 5th.

During this visit, the President will be in Sekondi, the administrative capital of the region, to extend his gratitude to Nananom, respected queen mothers, clergy, imams, esteemed Zongo chiefs, heads of departments, and party members at all levels.

This visit marks the second edition of the tour, following the nationwide tour that began last week in the Volta Region.
