Founder of Universal Christ Church, Prophet Gabriel Twumasi, has disclosed the importance of protection.

He believes each and every individual should protect themselves from both foreseen and unforeseen harm.

According to him, “we always need to protect ourselves against evil because day in day out, people plan evil against us without out knowledge.”

Speaking to Rev. Nyansa Boakwa on Happy 98.9FM’s Nsem Pii, he said, “People without protection stand a higher risk of being attacked because it is easier for the enemy to get access to you when you’re not protected.”

Talking about ways to protect oneself, he mentioned that people have different ways of protecting themselves and also different sources of protection.

“Some people wear fortified rings, necklaces and many others just to protect themselves. It all depends on who and what you believe in and how well it works for you. It will work for you based on your belief,” he emphasized.

The prophet went on to state that God also protects man through objects because He is a spirit “and created us as spirit beings as well. Hence, He sees through His creation and it is through this same creation He protects us.”

Citing an example from the Bible, he made it known that in Psalms 8:1, God tells man that He is protecting “us against the enemy.

Even God knows the importance of protection and how evil can befall us so, he is protecting us from evil,” he said.

“No matter who you are, it is important for you to get protection. Whether you’re a Christian, Muslim or an idol worshipper, it doesn’t matter get protection. Only the wise will say he has no enemies, but the truth is enemies abound everywhere in the universe,” he asserted.

The prophet advised everyone to protect themselves, families, friends and children because a lot of people die as a result of the lack of protection.
