Founder of Sabash Herbal Center, Dr. Kwaku Sarbah, has emphasized that protecting a child starts from pregnancy and not when the child is born.

He noted that, how well a child is protected begins from birth, and it will determine the well-being of the child and the parent as well.

Speaking to Rev. Nyansa Boakwa on Happy 98.9FM’s ‘Nsem Pii’ he said, “This is why every parent has to protect their child right from pregnancy. A child can cause the rise or fall of the parent depending on how well they are protected even in the womb.”

He stated that this is why it is important pregnant women are given specific herbs to take their bath to prevent evil eyes, and spirits from seeing she and the baby before birth.

“Although prayers are good, it is not all about prayers. You also have to protect yourself physically and most often, a lot of people take these things for granted and they always tend to face the consequence later on,” he highlighted.

The herbalist mentioned that our forefathers practiced these, but today we have ignored it and are calling it fetish, forgetting that was what and how our fathers protected us from evil.

“Another thing most people don’t know is that if you protect your children, they become good people in the society. So, all married couples or pregnant women expecting children should endeavor to protect their pregnancy to avoid anything bad from happening to themselves and their babies,” he advised.
