Ghana’s leading urban radio brand, YFM will thrill audience and patrons of popular Purple Pub at Osu with the grand finale of Rapture II.

The final showdown which will come off on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 6pm will see ten (10) contestants battle it out for the ‘god of Rapture’ title.

With the grit and prowess of contestants at par, YFM has outdoored judges who will contribute to deciding who wears the crown.

The popular Ghanaian rapper and dancer wears many hats. He is a talented actor, husband, and father. The musician launched his music in 1991. Worth noting, he is among the sole pioneers of the Hip-Life Movement that was started in 1994.

Reginald Yaw Asante Ossei popularly known as Reggie Rockstone today, is a member of the legendary group VIP, currently known as VVIP. Together with the group, they have released the albums Selfie and Skolom. The musician was also featured in the 344 paged documentary titled Living the hiplife: celebrity and entrepreneurship in Ghanaian popular music.

Reggie Rockstone is the first of three judges to preside over Rapture II finals.

Nana Kwame Osei Sarpong, popularly known as Nockus or Da Soulman is a radio and television host, MC, actor, voice actor, and the founding father of Ghana’s biggest urban radio station, YFM.

Nana Kwame found his inspiration for radio in 1997 when he entered KNUST and found out that his hall of residence, Katanga hall, had a radio station, COTTANTO Radio. In 2008, he was contacted by Global Media Alliance to take part in a brainstorming session that led to the birth of Ghana’s first and biggest urban radio station, YFM.

Known for unveiling new talents, Nockus has, for the past 15 years, been involved with Lyricist lounge, Bless The Mic, and The Movement, events that gave life to the careers of a lot of the big names in music.

He also worked directly with individuals and managements that started the careers of artists such as Jupitar, AI now Ayisi, King Promise, Kuvie, Lady Jay, and Yaa Pono among others. It is no surprise he has been chosen as an esteemed judge for Rapture II.

Eddy Blay AKA “Blazay” is considered one of the pioneers, pacesetters of the GH entertainment industry. Eddy started on TV, presenting a magazine show called “Smash TV” when he was just 17.

Since then, he has had a very successful career in media, hosting numerous TV shows, and continues to be one of the best concert MC’s.

With his penchant for music and ability to spot talent, Eddy Blay Jr. has been judge on numerous shows to identity and develop talent and is one of the best fits for Rapture II.
