The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has raised concern over the Electoral Commission’s decision to re-collate results in certain constituencies.

Addressing the media on December 13, 2024, at the party’s headquarters, the NDC’s National Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, criticized the process, describing it as unlawful and part of an alleged plot to undermine the electoral process and the NDC’s victory.

The re-collation, currently taking place at the Police Training School in Tesano, was strongly condemned by Asiedu Nketia, who stated that it lacks any legal basis in Ghana’s electoral laws. “The exercise ongoing at the Police Training School in Tesano amounts to illegality and is not founded on any laws of Ghana’s elections. I personally advised most of the party agents not to step foot there because we had not been involved in the decision-making process,” he said.

He further warned that the actions of the Electoral Commission and its collaborators could have far-reaching consequences in future
