"Referee Sukah should be banned by GES" – Special Aid to Asante Kotoko CEO declares

Special Aid to Kumasi Asante Kotoko Executive Chairman, Nana Kwesi Gyenbibi, has said in an interview that referee Samuel Sukah who is a Physical Education tutor at St. Thomas Aquinas Senior High school should be banned by the Ghana Education Service (GES).
According to him the Sukah who accepted a healthy sum of money to rig the match week 8 fixture played on March 19 2017, between Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak in favour of the Phobians has no moral right to teach at the Catholic School.
“Referee Samuel Sukah doesn’t deserve to teach after what we saw him doing in the Anas expose video,” he told Happy FM’s Anopa Bosuo Sports.
“Samuel Sukah must be jailed for taking bribe. Leaving him to practice his teaching profession doesn’t make sense to me because he can’t impact any good moral values on our kids”
He also pleaded with government to seek consultations before dissolving the GFA; “The government have all the right to dissolve the GFA but I will plead with them to seek for consultation from FIFA to avoid breaking the laws”
“Kotoko is still in camp. We have not received any official letter saying football in Ghana has been dissolved.”
About 100 referees, GFA officials, and National Sports Authority officials have been implicated in the recent exposé by undercover journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
The officials are seen on tape receiving various gifts including cash, and food items in order to either skew matches in favour of one team or to manipulate selection processes into the Senior National team.
