Referees chief exposes Dr Papa Kwasi Nduom; 'You are a big liar'

Retired FIFA referee and the Chairman of the Ghana Referees Association Ref Joseph Debrah has descended heavily on Dr Papa Kwasi Nduom for his blatant lie over referee Nuhu Liman’s ordeal in the game between Elmina Sharks and Medeama SC in the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday.
The Match Day 8 clash between Elmina Sharks and Medeama played at the Nduom Sports Complex on Wednesday was ended abandoned after centre referee Nuhu Liman was brutally attacked by the home supporters.
Sharks fans unhappy with certain decisions of the officiating official hence pounced on him, leaving him with blood oozing from his head.
But Elmina Sharks tried to cover up the barbaric act by posting on Twitter that referee Liman “fell and injured himself”.
“I will use this your podium to say to comment on the issue. If Papa Kwasi Nduom says the referee fell down rather than what’s reported is a big lie, Papa Kwasi is not a true person, referee Liman was attacked by the supporters of Elmina Sharks and I have received the report from the league centre and the report indicates that he was attacked with stone, so Papa Ndoum should come again and stop lying to the public and set the record straight,” retired referee Debrah told Happy FM.
“Not all humans can come out with truth and I have received lots of calls concerning what he said and I tell you it’s laughable, how can someone walking fall down without you being sick?
“What prevented the fourth official from continuing with the game? In our Rules and Regulations if a referee gets injured, the fourth official is mandated to step-in and continues the game so why didn’t he do that. This is just a common sense to everybody and I say it again Papa Kwasi Nduom is a big lair.”
