Rev. Father Peter Kusi apologises for leading congregation to sing King Paluta's Aseda song

Rev. Father Peter Kusi Twumasi, Acting Rector of St. Stephen Rectorate at Bodomase in the Ashanti Region has rendered an unqualified apology for singing King Paluta song, ‘Aseda’ in Church.

According to him, he allowed himself for a secular song to enter a sacred place which has caused offence and confusion.

In a statement dated 13th August 2024, Rev Peter Kusi indicated that the incident has been amplified on Social media, causing attention and embarrassment to the church and he takes full responsibility for his mistake and assured that it will not happen again.

He apologied to the entire Catholic community for the offence.

Rev. Father Peter Kusi Twumasi and hia congregation were seen in a viral video singing and dancing to ‘Aseda’.
