Zimbabwean ex-president, Robert Gabriel Mugabe was reported dead early hours of this morning. After being overthrown from his over three decades of rule, serving from prime minister to president, Mugabe was hospitalized for months, following an unrevealed illness which is believed to be the cause of his sad demise.

Robert Mugabe was a Pan-Africanist and an image of freedom. Among other qualities, he will certainly be remembered for his thought-provoking and hilarious quotes which stormed social media as a whole meme book.

He made some funny quotes like ‘’A brave man is a man who has a running stomach but still wants to flatulate’’, ‘’The only white man you can trust is a dead white man’’, ‘’The only warning Africans take seriously is LOW BATTERY’’ among many others.

Current Zimbabwean president, Emmerson Mnangagwa, in a tweet said ‘’It is with utmost sadness that I announce the passing on of Zimbabwe’s founding father and former president, Cde Robert Mugabe’’ President Emmerson tweeted.
Although his illness was undisclosed, there were reports that he was suffering from prostate cancer, which he denied.

May his soul rest in perfect peace!
