Deputy Operations Manager for Asante Kotoko, Alhaji Ali Maradona, has disclosed the salary of each of the current management members of the Kumasi based club.
The maverick management member sought to dispel impressions being created in the minds of supporters of the club that they were milking the club by receiving huge salaries but he disclosed that he takes a paltry GHc 500 monthly for all the work he does for the Porcupine Warriors.
Speaking on Happy FM’s Anopa Bosuo Sports Monday morning, Ali Maradona said apart from the General Manager of the club, Opoku Nti who takes Ghc 1,500 per month, the rest of us take Ghc 500 per month.
“I’m paid only GHc500 a month for all the work I do for Kotoko. Edmund Ackah also earns same GHc500 just as George Kennedy and Kwaku Ahenkorah. It’s only Opoku Nti who gets GHc 1,500 per month.” Ali Maradona told Happy FM.
