Sandra Talata Mmabil Dobil, the esteemed Women’s Commissioner of the Ghana Institute for Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), has taken a significant stride in her pursuit of empowering women and advocating for their rights. The determined leader has picked up nomination forms to contest the position of Secretary for Women’s Development within the esteemed National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS).

Sandra Talata, known for her relentless commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment, has been a beacon of inspiration for students during her tenure at GIMPA. Her decision to vie for the NUGS position comes as a natural progression in her ongoing efforts to uplift and amplify the voices of Ghanaian women within the educational sector.

NUGS, the largest student union in Ghana, plays a pivotal role in addressing students’ concerns, promoting their welfare, and championing their rights. The Secretary for Women’s Development holds a critical position within the organization, entrusted with spearheading initiatives to enhance the educational experiences of female students and advocate for gender equality in educational institutions nationwide.

Sandra Talata Mmabil Dobil, a hardworking and passionate leader, curently stands as an Advocate at the Ghana Aids Commission, the strong upholder of Women Empowerment who emerged as the fourth runner-up of Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2020 is the present Womens’ Commisssioner of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). She has made great strides since her early days especially within the academic space; starting off as the Head Girls’ Prefect and SRC – Vice President at Our Lady of Mercy Senior High School (OLAMS) (2015/2016), continued as first PR for the Institute of Distant Learning (2018/2019) at the Koforidua Technical University.
