Sarkodie throws shades at Shatta Wale in remix of Medikal’s how much song

By now every ardent follower of Ghana music has come to realisation that Shatta Wale rides on controversies to keep his name going. So, it’s not surprising that Shatta has been throwing shade at Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Kwaw Kese, et al. off late whenever he gets media platform.

It could be recalled that Shatta Wale in an interview with DJ Reuben of Luv FM in Kumasi claims the likes of Sarkodie and Kwaw Kese are all very poor currently and all the ‘hate’ they have for him is because of this particular reason.

Cantankerous Shatta Wale in the same interview further stated that he is not boxing with anyone to pull them but the reality is that currently; “Kwaw Kese is very poor, Sarkodie is poor but for Stonebwoy because he is on the same label (Zylofon Music) with me, he has a few things… but the rest of them are damn poor!

Fast forward, Angel Town who happens to be Sarkodie’s manager in a recent media interaction advised the “Gringo” hitmaker to seek the counsel of the above-mentioned artistes on how to sell his pending album successfully rather than throwing unnecessary shades here and there.

Well, Sarkodie himself has responded to Shatta Wale’s assertion that he’s poor in the remix of Medikal’s Hip-Hop banger titled “How Much Be Your Too Much Money”. In the voice of Sarkodie as captured in the song, he indirectly warned Shatta Wale to put some respect on his name because they’re not coequal.

“…put some respect on my name nigga; cus you and me are not the same nigga. WopushiPicanto no na me pushi Range nigga. I started charging half a million before you came in nigga! ..”, an excerpt of Sarkodie’s verse that is indirectly meant for Shatta Wale.

So, if this verse by Sarkodie is anything to go by, then the SarkCess Music CEO is filthy rich to the extent that Shatta Wale can never compare himself to him because Sark started making more money in our music industry before Shatta became a household name. Therefore, it’s high time Shatta Wale considered giving the needed respect to Michael OwusuAddo famously known as Sarkodie.
