The Savannah Regional Police Command has arrested 27 individuals, including women, for drug related offenses in a special Christmas operation across the region.
The operation, conducted in Salaga, Damongo, Buipe, and Bole, targeted criminal hideouts and suspected drug peddlers.
The suspects were found in possession of substances suspected to be Indian hemp. Investigations are ongoing, and the suspects are expected to face the law.
The police operation aimed to enhance security and clamp down on crime during the festive season.
