Schalke 04 have not given up on Baba Rahman and will try to sign him again when the transfer window re-opens in January, according to reports in Germany.
The German outfit had wanted to sign the Ghanaian in the summer following the expiration of his loan spell.
“If it is somehow possible, we would like to keep it,” said sporting director Christian Heidel in April on Baba.
However, the 23-year old, went back to Chelsea and thus ended the chapter for the time being.
But, according to report, the miners want to reinforce and they are thinking about Baba again.
With severe knee problems, he missed preparation like the season opener and has so far not made any appearance for the Blues despite regaining fitness.
