Shatta has apologised but I am not done – Andy Dosty

Ghanaian media personality, Andy Dosty has disclosed that Shatta Wale has issued an apology to him for expressing disrespect towards his mother. 

Dosty who was quizzed by a listener via text on why he had not said anything about Shatta Wale’s just released album, ‘M.A.A.L.I’,  made it known to listeners on his radio show segment that the reason for his silence regarding the current success of the album is because of the dancehall musician’s act of disrespect towards his mother. “You want me to talk about it? An artiste that stands on stage and insults my mother and talks anyhow and foolishly to my mother, and you want me to what?” he retorted. 

The radio pundit while complaining bitterly about the level of liberty given to individuals in the country, reiterated that, “That’s all I have said. I love my mother, and nobody, nobody… I won’t speak ill of anyone’s mother; she raised me well. You can fool around. The fooling is too much in this country.”

Despite Shatta’s apology, Andy Dosty in a discussion with Sally Mane and DJ Slim, stated that, the apology does not end the case. ‘‘All I can say is we have spoken, he called someone in high authority and the person called me, so he himself could not talk to me, but rather did that through someone else and we spoke for almost fifty something minutes and this person also expressed certain things I do personally which he does not like. I have spoken to my mum, and she was like, oh we are brothers and so we should not let this go far,’’ he revealed.
