Goalkeeper, Manuel Neuer and midfielder, IIkay Gundogan have made the cut despite their injury woes.
Seven of the players who won the FIFA Confederation Cup in Russia last year have been included in the final 23.
Sane scored 14 goals and registered 15 assists in 49 appearances to help his club win the English Premier League and Carabao Cup.
