Fantana has taken to social media to congratulate her mother, Mrs. Dorcas Nda-Affo Toffey popularly known as Nzema Yaa Asantewaa for winning the Jomoro NDC Parliamentary primaries.

The biggest opposition party, NDC went to the polls yesterday to elect their representatives to battle their rivals, the NPP come 2020 general elections.

There were much surprises, including the overwhelming win by actor John Dumelo.

Fantana claimed her mother was even shocked over her victory because she never believed she will beat her bitterest competitors in the political game.

Nda-Affo Toffey prior to the primaries donated a brand new ambulance from her personal coffers worth GHC240,000 to the Half Assini government hospital in the Jomoro Municipality of the Western Region for emergency relief services.
