Francesca Duncan Williams who is widely known in the music industry as Sista Afia, has revealed that she was very sceptical about meeting dancehall act Shatta Wale for the first.

Ghanaian dancehall king, Shatta Wale is perceived to a rude person due to the manner in which he tackles issues concerning his brand.

However, during an interview with Adom FM, the ‘Jeje’ hitmaker disclosed that she was afraid to meet the Shatta Movement boss due to some reportage she had read about him.

According to her, she thought Shatta Wale had a rowdy personality.

“It was scary when I was informed to wait for him outside. When he appeared he mentioned my name and asked that we record some songs together. The media portrayed him to be a rude person; I thought Shatta wasn’t approachable.

Speaking further, Sista Afia revealed that Shatta Wale has a cool attitude and is a very down-to-earth person much in contrast to what some people say about him.

“He was different than I thought. He started taking me to shows and I give him all the respect he deserves,” she said.

Sista Afia, however, maintained that she has never dated Shatta Wale.

“We only have music business,” she told OPD.
