Former Eleven Wonders coach J.E. Sarpong believes the club has genuine potential but insists poor management is pushing the team towards failure.
“The team has promising talent, but there are serious managerial shortcomings that need urgent attention. Even if you are the greatest of coaches, you’ll fail in this team,” he told Sintim Koree Chaskele in an interview on Happy Sports.
Sarpong, who resigned after just three games, revealed that communication between management and technical staff was almost non-existent.
“Management never communicated with me from the day I was appointed. The club was not being run properly.”
He added that anyone who witnesses the internal structure of the club will understand why results have been poor.
“When you get there and see how things are being managed, you’ll understand why the team can lose eight games in a row.”
On the Ghana Premier League table, Eleven Wonders currently sit at the bottom with just three points from 11 matches. They will take on Dreams FC in their Matchday 12 fixture, with a replacement for Sarpong yet to be announced.
