Member of Parliament for Tamale Central , Murtala Muhammed, has expressed strong confidence that the three ministerial nominees recently appointed by President John Mahama will successfully pass their vetting process and assume their respective roles without difficulty.

Speaking to the media at the National Muslim Prayer and Thanksgiving in Accra on Friday, January 10, he emphasized that President Mahama’s vast experience, having previously served as President of the Republic of Ghana, ensures he is fully prepared for the role and capable of fulfilling every promise made to Ghanaians. He commended the speed with which the President is implementing changes and expressed optimism that the process will continue smoothly.

The three ministerial appointments cover the key portfolios of Finance, Energy, and Justice. He stressed the urgency of filling these positions, particularly in the energy sector, where past challenges have affected the nation. He indicated that the immediate approval of the nominees is critical to addressing pressing national issues and ensuring effective governance.

Murtala Muhammed also highlighted the competence of the nominees, citing their previous roles as deputy ministers, which have adequately prepared them for their current designations. He expressed full confidence that the vetting process will be completed without delays, allowing Parliament to debate and approve the appointments promptly.

The Tamale Central legislator reaffirmed his belief in President Mahama’s leadership and commitment to delivering on his promises, emphasizing that the administration’s swift actions reflect a clear dedication to national progress.
