Ghanaian Highlife Artiste Kwaisey Pee born Akwasi Opoku has disclosed that there is no money in making music as a profession in Ghana.
The legendary highlife musician, Kwaisey Pee, made this revelation in an interview with DJ Advicer, host of ‘Ayekoo’ after drive show on Happy 98.9 FM.
“I am not under any record label; I finance my songs with my transportation job. Sometimes, I feel like quitting. At a time, I even stopped but I had to return and the thing is, there is no money in doing music in Ghana. I mean, there is nothing in doing music here.”
Kwaisey Pee is currently promoting his new single dubbed ‘Ma br3’.
