The Deputy General Secretary of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has given a new twist to the behaviour of the Deputy Minister for Transport and Member of Parliament saying he is an educated person who does not understand simple English constructions.
‘He (Titus) does not understand English I can say, he does not understand English, and if he does he would not have misinterpretated what I said in plain English language’ Koku Anyidoho said.
Mr. Anyidoho made this comment in reaction to an earlier comment by the Deputy Minister for Transport and Member of Parliament for Tema East in the Greater Accra region, Daniel Titus-Glover on the ‘Epao Hoa Daben’ show hosted by Kwame Afrifa Mensah on Accra based Happy FM.
According to Mr. Anyhidoho, the Deputy Minister’s behaviour is a clear indication that he does not understands simple English constructions of the queen’s language.
What I was asked on the show by Nana Ama Anamoah was that do I love ex-president John Dramani Mahama and i said i don’t hate him.
I have worked for him and I have never said it anywhere that I hated him this indicates that the Deputy Minister does not understand simple English constructions.
According to him, he and the late president John Evans Atta-Mills had a personal relationship but for ex-president John Dramani Mahama ‘we worked for him.’
I don’t hate ex-president Mahama and I will never hate him, the relationship between me and the late president was different and personal he posited
Mr. Anydoho also made this correction to what he earlier said on the Ghone TV show hosted by Nana Ama Anamoah on the ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ show on Happy FM.
So if anybody is giving a different twist to what I earlier said means that person does not understand English language I spoke on the show.
The Deputy Minister for Transport will only make this comment because he does not understand the language I spoke on the show.
I have never said anywhere that I hated the ex-president, I would not have worked for him if I hated him.
