Public Relations Officer of Hearts, Kwame Opare Addo, has refuted claims in the media which suggest that Togbe Afede XIV has blocked the return of Hearts duo, Kwame Kizito and Vincent Atinga.
The duo who are currently free agents departed from the Phobians having had an impressive outing in the just-ended Ghana Premier League, as they look to secure a move away from the local league.
In an interview with Ghanacrusader.com, Opare entreated fans of the club to treat that story as completely falsehood, as Togebe Afede hasn’t said anything of that sought but has rather encouraged talks with certain players who currently out of contact.
“It’s never true, those spreading the rumours should put a stop to it. It’s a big falsehood,he [Togbe Afede] never said it but he rather recommended that once the transfer window has not yet close, we should keep negotiating with these players.
“So I appeal to all Hearts fans to annul such reports and treat it with disregard as we don’t recognise that story and it’s not credible,” Opare told Ghanacrusader.com
