Kwabena Owusu returns to the Black Meteors starting lineup as head coach Ibrahim Tanko names his squad to face the South Africa in the third place game.
The Cordoba striker was benched in the two previous games played. He came on a substitute against Mali in the final group game and against Cote d’Ivoire came in for Polley in the first half.
Owusu has been a key figure for the Black Meteors side in the competition and Coach Tanko will rely on his experience and quality in today’s game.
He replaces Polley who started in the game against Cote d’Ivoire in the semi-finals .
Ghana will be seeking for a win in today’s game to guarantee them a place in next summer Olympic football tournament to be held in Tokyo.
