A group of newly employed nurses in Tamale, Northern Region, have staged a protest over unpaid salaries.
The demonstrators, holding placards, marched through the streets demanding urgent government intervention.
“We are tired and we need our money. It’s been almost 10 months without pay, and we’ve already spent nearly four years at home waiting for employment.”
The nurses called on authorities to address their plight, stressing that the delay is affecting their livelihoods and morale.
They urged the government to honor its commitments and ensure timely payment of salaries.
