The Dormaa Youth and Sports Centre has hosted a Community Football Gala despite the project not being opened to the public, Happy Sports can report.
The Dormaa Youth and Sports Centre like the other venues is still under construction but work has stalled for several months.
Per our checks, the pitch, sitting stands and VVIP areas have been completed for usage.
However, some construction materials had been left to the mercy of the weather and are gradually corroding.
The dressing room is also in a bad state.
The facility has been handed over by the contractor to security officials to manage the place.
Residents of Dormaa are hoping the facility will be completed in time so that lower-tier sides in the community will use the venue as their home grounds.
The Dormaa Youth and Sports Centre together with the other centres visited by Happy Sports has been abandoned for several months.
