The seven-member probing committee set over last week Thursday’s disruption of ministerial vetting proceedings has scheduled Member of Parliament for the Pru West Constituency, Emmanuel Kofi Ntekuni to reappear and identify anyone involved with direct destruction of property during the chaos.

The newly elected MP who faced the probing committee today on account of being spotted in footage captured of the incident, said that his intentions were not to incite any form of violence but rather restore calm to the proceedings.

He noted that in his bid to exercise reasoning between raging committee members, he spotted one member he does not know by name breaking one leg of the table to force stop advances of all who sought to restore calm.

Chairperson of the committee, Ho West MP Emmanuel Bedzrah, shared that Mr. Ntekuni will be summoned again before the committee to identify the culprit who was directly involved in the damaging of property. “We agreed yesterday that we were going to look into the very details of breaking tables and chairs and as well as removing the cables that will be done tomorrow and so tomorrow we will invite him again to identify the culprit,”
