Ghana’s Vice President, Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has congratulated Hasaacas Ladies FC on their dominant performance in the just-concluded Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League.

They secured their fifth league title and earned the right to represent Ghana at the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League, WAFU Zone.

In a press release addressed to the club, Dr. Bawumia commended the team’s management, technical staff, players, and fans for their impressive achievement.

He expressed hope that Hasaacas Ladies can replicate their remarkable performance from 2021 by winning the WAFU Zone trophy and advancing to the main CAF Women’s Champions League tournament.

The Vice President further extended an invitation to the team, stating his intention to host them once again as they prepare for the upcoming WAFU Challenge.

Hasaacas Ladies FC will be aiming to build on their past success and bring further glory to Ghana in the upcoming WAFU Zone qualifiers by qualifying for the CAF Women’s champions League again.
