Afropop and Afrobeat singer, Wendy Adoo, popularly known as ‘Wendy Shay’ has disclosed similarities between her and the late dancehall and Afrobeats artist Ebony Reigns.
Speaking in an interview with DJ Advicer, host of the ‘Ayekoo After Drive’ on Happy FM, she said that, she is not copying Ebony’s style but they have some likeness to each other since they were groomed under the same record label and the same producer.
“Sisters from the same house may always have similarities and Ebony, may her soul rest in peace, was trained by Bullet as he is training me so there will definitely be some similarities. We have the same song writer so definitely things will be the same because our songs are similar to each other,” she stated.

She also revealed that she is currently working on her new album dubbed ‘Shay On You’.
