Madam Elsie Evelyn Avemegah, the mother of Shatta Wale has descended heavily on Sarkodie, Shatta Wale on a live radio to stop fighting since it will have an adverse effect on the music industry.
Shatta Wale’s mother was speaking with Kwaku Annan host of ‘Ghana Must Know’ on Accra-based Hot when she touched on the raging beef between her son, Shatta Wale and his former close friend, Sarkodie, the rap King of Africa.
According to Madam Elsie, Shatta Wale and Sarkodie are among the biggest artists in Ghana so if they fight among themselves, the young ones will emulate their actions which will go far to affect the music industry.
Madam Elsie begged Sarkodie and Shatta Wale to come together, make money and raise their children and push the industry forward.
“You will never hear these things from Nigerians. Don’t do this kind of things, why are we doing these in Ghana. Don’t you want to go up? Why do we pull each other’s leg, we shouldn’t be doing this… I beg all of you..all the musicians in Ghana, I beg you.” Madam Elsie pleaded
Shatta Wale’s mother, Madam Elsie Evelyn Avemegah concluded by saying, “Its a big shame, they should stop it, it’s not the best”.
