The Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has encouraged residents of Sunyani East to vote for the NDC to bring development to their community.

He emphasized that people vote to see growth and improvements in their lives. He added that if an elected MP or president fails to fulfill their promises, the community should hold them accountable by voting them out. This, he argued, would push politicians to take residents’ concerns more seriously, understanding that failing to deliver could cost them support.

During his visit to Atronie in the Sunyani East Constituency on Friday, November 1, he mentioned that local chiefs had shared challenges like bad roads, which he also witnessed while traveling. He acknowledged the difficulties the community faces due to poor road conditions.

Asiedu Nketia encouraged the people to support the NDC’s parliamentary candidate, Seid Mubarak, and the party as a whole, assuring that the NDC would prioritize development in the area.

He pointed out that their voting pattern has historically been an obstacle, stressing the need for a shift.

He urged the residents to avoid voting solely out of tradition or family loyalty, especially when candidates are not meeting their needs.
