The governing New Patriotic Party(NPP) has strongly indicated that its is fully prepared for the December 7, polls despite the attempts by the main opposition National Democratic Congress to vilify the party with fake news ahead of the polls.

According to Dr Mustapha Abdul-Hamid, the Deputy Campaign Manager for the re-election bid of His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for the next four years gave this assurance at a press conference to brief the media on the party’s preparedness for the elections.

We ready for the December 1, early voting and main the December 7, polls, he said.

We are ready for the polls and we know we are wining come December 7, he assured.

We know we are winning, and we will not stop working till December 7, he said.

He noted that party is serious about winning the December 7, polls and will continue to persuade Ghanaians to buy into the pro-poor policies of the NPP.

We unfazed by any amount concocted news targeting the  NPP and for that matter the Nana Akufo-Addo’s government from the stables of the opposition National Democratic Congress  in the final lap of the campaign.

No amount of vilification and concoction on the part of the NDC at this crucial time of the elections will work, he said.

He called on Ghanaians to treat such concocted stories with all the contempt it deserve.

He said what the what did the former president  John Dramani Mahama do for Ghanaians when he was in government except setting up a scheme to create, loot and share.

Judgement debts to loot the state resources were the only capabilities of the former president, he added

He reminded the NDC that the NPP is the only pro-people centred political party in the country because it propounded the Free SHS, NHIS, planting for food and jobs, one- village- one dam, Zongo development among others.

He questioned what the NDC did when it was in government?

What did the NDC in the cabinet of the Republic do for the past eight years
