The Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Party (NDP), Mohammed Frimpong has responded to Editor of The Hawk Newspaper, Charles McCarthy citing that his political party has offices across the country as mandated by the Constitution.

Charles McCarthy had earlier challenged the Electoral Commission to remove the names of political parties who do not have offices across the country from the Presidential ballot apart from the NPP and NDC.

Responding to the claims Mohammed Frimpong said the editor of The Hawk Newspaper does not know what he is talking about because every eligible political party including NDP in this country has offices nationwide.

In an interview with Kwadwo Sefah-Danquah on Happy 98.9 FM’s Morning Show, Mr. Frimpong challenged Charles McCarthy to go round and check to verify if the NDP doesn’t have offices across the country.

He added that party offices are not business centers where people will be 24/7 to prove those offices are functioning.

“Why should he blame the EC and say we don’t have offices, he is at the liberty to check all over the country if he doesn’t know”, he noted.
