Deputy Captain of the Black Stars, Thomas Partey has appealed to Vice president Dr. Mahamudu to improve sporting infrastructure in the country in order to boost performance.

Vice president, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia visited the Black Stars players and the technical team ahead of the crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Central African Republic on the morning Monday, June 10, 2024.

Thomas Partey who spoke as the leader of the playing body thanked the Vice president for the visit while stating that they need good stadiums to be able to play good football that Ghanaians want to see.

“We appreciate your decision to come here because it means a lot to us and we are going to give off our best tonight. I have a message from all the players and we are all asking for a good stadium because we want to play better football so we need a better stadium,” Thomas Partey said as monitored by Happy Sports.
