Former Hearts of Oak Board Secretary, Ernest Thompson has asked supporters of the club to exercise patience and rally behind the team despite their poor start to the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season.
The Phobians are without a win after matchday four in the ongoing campaign.
Hearts were handed their first defeat of the season by AshantiGold on Sunday which has brought a lot of pressure on head coach Samuel Boadu, his technical team, and the players.
Ernest Thompson believes The Phobians can bounce back to defend the league title but urged the fans to support the team.

“If you don’t have the heart of a Supporter then get out of the team. The coach needs support as well as the players”, he told Joe Debrah on Wamputu Sports on Happy 98.9FM.
“Even if there is a problem with the management they shouldn’t disturb the playing team. We shouldn’t create Mayhem just because we lost one match. We should support the players and coach and ensure we give them the peace of mind to work”.
Hearts of Oak is placed 16th on the league table with three points out of a possible 12 after matchday four.
