Member of Parliament for North Tongu has joined Ghanaians to eulogize the late Asempa FM presenter, Kwadwo Asare-Baffour Acheampong, popularly known as KABA.
Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa described him as a professional journalist with an open mind.
Speaking at a memorial service held on his behave at the forecourt of the Radio Building, which houses Joy FM, Adom FM, Asempa FM and Hitz FM, the MP disclosed how most of them were addicted to KABA because of his FM’s late afternoon political show, ‘Eko Sii Sen’ on Asempa FM.
In his view “afternoon political talk show will never sound the same” because KABA is no more. This notwithstanding, he was convinced KABA is gone to a better place.
“We in the NDC are shuttered by KABA’s death. Our condolences to the family, MBG and the media fraternity” he stated.
The host of Asempa FM’s late afternoon political show, ‘Eko Sii Sen’ passed away during the early hours of Saturday, November 18, 2017. He was 37-years-old.
KABA married Valentina Ofori Afriyie [in June 2016], a staff of Accra-based Class FM and they had a daughter who is now seven months.
