The beast at the turntables for Y 97.9 FM Takoradi, has been nominated in the Radio DJ of the year category of the award scheme.

The resident DJ of Y 97.9 FM’s Myd Morning Show’s dedication and distinct style of delivery has earned him the title as one of the most listened to DJ’s in the region and beyond.

His nomination did not come as a surprise but it is regarded as recognition of his dedication to the media and entertainment industry at large.

Commenting on his nomination, DJ Cuebeatz had this to say, “I see this as a very humbling opportunity and it definitely pushes me to keep working hard. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Almighty God for life and strength to do what I do best. To the very good people around who helped me grow and nurtured my talent into what it is today, I express my profound appreciation. We need to win this award together and I need your support in the form of votes. I urge to vote massively for me so we can win this.”

Programmes Manager for Y97.9 FM, Agyekum Gyimah, reacting to the nomination said, “DJ Cuebeatz has proven himself to be the best at what he does. His diligence and hard work keeps listeners engaged and entertained, has earned him this merit. I will like to empower everyone to throw their weight behind him so he wins in this category.”
