Former GFA Vice president, George Afriyie has said that there is nothing the current administration under Kurt Okraku can do to him that he hasn’t already suffered.

According to him, he has suffered in various forms in his journey as a football administrator and there is nothing new that can be done to him except the usual; preventing him from contesting in the GFA presidential elections.

Geoegr Afriyie’s comments come on the back of the charge received from the Ghana Football Association for allegedly making public comments that brings the name of the game into disrepute.

“Brenya whether I’m being targeted or not and I’m telling you that it doesn’t matter because what more can they do to me that I haven’t suffered because in this game aside the usual preventing me from contesting in the elections.”

“J.Y Appiah, Alhaji Grusah and others have said worse than what I said but nothing was done. They have already prevented me from contesting and me I won’t invest my money in the league so they can’t do anything to me on that,” George Afriyie told Ohene-Bampoe Brenya on Happy Sports.

He added that his focus is to develop players for the international market so if the GFA uses the system to relegate his club he wouldn’t care.

“My plan now is to groom young players for the international market. So they can’t relegate my club to the 5th division and I wouldn’t even care about that.”
