Where Are They?: Joseph Adjei recounts his playing days with RTU and rejecting offers from top clubs

Former Real Tamale United player, Joseph Adjei has disclosed how he rejected a lot of offers to stay at the club.

According to him, he preferred not to engage himself in any sort of fetish activity but rather, wait on the Lord which one of the reasons why he plied his trade locally.

The former RTU and Asante Kotoko player, in an interview on Happy FM’s Where, Are They program, recounted how he was loved by many because of the way he played.

“I don’t want to blow my own trumpet, I would rather have people speaking about my exploits during that time.

“Football was a God-given talent and everywhere I went, I was liked and admired by many”. He told Ohene Bampoe Brenya.

“I spent eight (8) good years at RTU, I went there in the year 2000 and that is the club I spent most of my footballing career playing for.

“Many clubs came to our doorsteps for my services, talk of Kotoko, Goldfields currently Ashantigold SC but were rejected”. He added.
