Former Ghana and León forward, Isaac Ayipei, says his main target was to become a superstar during his active days as a professional footballer.

According to the Retired Ghanaian center-forward, whenever he was on the football pitch, he exhibited signs of greatness in any match he featured and his exploits was spoken about by many spectators.

“Whenever I was the pitch, people could clearly see my potential”.

“I aimed to be a Superstar from the word go and anywhere I went, it was evident.

“When I started my football career, fear of failure was not a factor I considered.

“I never had the fear of failure and it helped during my entire career.”He told Ohene Bampoe Brenya on Happy FM’s Where Are They program.

“I came from family of footballers, so everything I did or displayed on the field of play was just natural.

“I was a very good dribbler till I got injured and had to change my style of play from being a dribbler to a faster run just to give defenders a tough time”. He added.
Issac Ayipei during his career played for teams like Berekum Arsenal, Leones Negros UdeG, León, Rubin Kazan.Besides Ghana, he has also played in Mexico.
