Women advised to take care of their homes

CEO of Adwenpa Curtains, Mrs. Gifty Afriyie Aquah, has advised young ladies to properly care for their homes.

According to her, present-day young women use their careers and businesses as excuses not to take care of their homes, “and this is no excuse.”

She told Rev. Nyansa Boakwa on Happy98.9FM’s NsemPii, “You can do everything you set your mind to as it is just a matter of discipline, timing and dedication. Me being able to do it alone is proof enough that, everyone else can do it too.”

The successful businesswomen disclosed that although it is quite tough and draining, it can be achieved.

She highlighted that young ladies will just have to set their priorities right, plan, be disciplined about their plans and go ahead to execute it.

“It is very possible to be a wife, mother and a career woman,” she said.

Using herself as an example, she said, “I used to wake up at 4am to clean and cook for my husband and children and still go to work so it is very possible. Any woman who says it is impossible to do all that is just lazy and does not have her family and business at heart.”

She advised married young ladies to try their best to prevent their careers from interfering with their duties as wives. “Do this for the good of your families.”
